MUSICAL MOMENTS: GLENN MILLER

The Glenn Miller Orchestra is one of the most famous of the big band era, and their version of "In The Mood" put them on the map. The musicial world lost a great talent when Miller disappeared (and presumed died) in 1944...

  1. Back in the 70s we caught Paula Kelly and the Modernaires in concert at the Canadian National Exhibition. Paula Kelly saw my sister and I in the front row and commented, "I think we have some fans who watch late night movies here." The thing about Glenn's music is that you didn't have to be around the first time to appreciate it, and have it steeped in your soul.
